YO! -TAXI Passengers App Terms and Conditions.
By continuing to use this e-hailing service, that is, YO! -TAXI Passengers App, you have confirmed that you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before using this YO! -TAXI Passengers App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

1.1 By accessing and using this YO! -TAXI Passengers App, you agree to these terms and conditions, our Privacy Policy, and any other guidelines or rules applicable to specific features or services offered by this YO! -TAXI Passengers App as updated from time to time.

2. User Eligibility

2.1 You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction to use our e-hailing service YO! -TAXI Passengers App. By using this YO! -TAXI Passengers App, you represent and warrant that you meet this eligibility requirement.

3. Booking and Ride Services

3.1 You can use this YO! -TAXI Passengers App to request rides from nearby available drivers. We facilitate the connection between you and the driver(s), but we do not provide transportation services ourselves.
3.2 Ride availability is subject to driver(s)' availability and other external factors such as traffic, data and mobile network availability, and weather conditions.
3.3 You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of your personal and booking details, including the pick-up and drop-off locations.

4. Payment

4.1 Payment for rides is processed through this YO! -TAXI Passengers App. You agree to pay the agreed-upon fare, which includes any applicable taxes, fees, and surcharges.
4.2 Base fee is applied to trip(s) requested within a given distance from the matched driver(s). Trip(s) requested within 3km radius attracts ₦0.00; Trip(s) requested within 3km – 5km radius attracts a base fare of ₦1000 only; and Trip(s) requested within 5km – 10km radius attracts a base fare of ₦2000 only.
4.3 Payments are processed securely through the payment methods available in this YO! -TAXI Passengers App. We do not store your payment information.

5. Cancellation and No-show Policy

5.1 You may cancel a ride request without charge if the driver has not moved from his/her location.
5.2 A cancellation fee of ₦500 only applies if you cancel a ride after the driver(s) has begun journey to your designated pick-up location.
5.3 A cancellation fee of ₦1000 only applies if you cancel a ride after the driver(s) has arrived at your designated pick-up location.
5.4 If the driver(s) arrived at your designated pick-up location and you did not show up within 30 minutes of the driver(s)’ arrival, a no-show fee of ₦1000 only applies.

6. Driver Waiting

6.1 A driver can only wait up to 10 minutes after arrival at your designated pick-up location without charging a fee.
6.2 If a driver waits longer than 10 minutes (up to a further 20 minutes duration) after arrival at your designated pick-up location, a standard waiting fee of ₦500 only applies.
6.3 If a driver waits up to 30 minutes after arrival at your designated pick-up location, either a waiting fee of ₦1000 only or a no-show fee of ₦1000 only shall automatically apply.

7. User Conduct

7.1 You agree not to use this YO! -TAXI Passengers App for any unlawful or unauthorised purpose.
7.2 You agree that you will treat driver(s), our staff, law enforcement officers, government officials and other users with respect and not engage in any inappropriate behaviour, including but not limited to harassment, violence, or discrimination.
7.3 You agree to fully cooperate with law enforcement agencies in case of any criminal investigation(s).

8. Liability

8.1 We do not control the behaviour of drivers or guarantee the safety of the rides. You use this YO! -TAXI Passengers App and our services fully aware that you are in charge of ensuring your safety and that of others during your ride(s).
8.2 You use this YO! -TAXI Passengers App and our services at your own risk.
8.3 We are not liable for any damages, losses, or expenses arising from the use or inability to use this YO! -TAXI Passengers App or services.

9. Changes to Terms and Conditions

9.1 We reserve the right to modify or update these terms and conditions at any time without notice. Changes will be effective upon posting on this YO! -TAXI Passengers App Announcement section. Continued use of this YO! -TAXI Passengers App constitutes your acceptance of any changes, which usually takes effect with this YO! -TAXI Passengers App updates on PlayStore and App Store.

10. Termination

10.1 We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to this YO! -TAXI Passengers App and services if you violate these terms and conditions.

11. Governing Law

11.1 These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

YO! -TAXI Drivers App Terms and Conditions.
By continuing to use this e-hailing service, you have confirmed that you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before using the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

1.1 By accessing and using this App, you agree to these terms and conditions, our Privacy Policy, and any other guidelines or rules applicable to specific features or services offered by the App as updated from time to time.

2. Driver Eligibility

2.1 To use the YO! -TAXI Drivers App, you must meet the eligibility criteria set by us. This includes possessing a valid driver's license, appropriate vehicle insurance, and meeting any local regulatory requirements.

3. Accepting Ride Requests

3.1 You can use this YO! -TAXI Drivers App to accept ride requests from passengers. By accepting a ride request, you agree to provide the transportation service to the passenger.
3.2 Ride availability and your ability to accept rides may be affected by factors such as your location, data/mobile network availability, and vehicle type, etc.

4. Providing Ride Services

4.1 You agree to provide safe and reliable transportation service(s) to passengers who have booked rides through the YO! -TAXI Passengers App.
4.2 You will follow all local traffic and road safety rules, regulations and laws during rides and ensure a courteous and respectful demeanor towards passengers, law enforcement officer and relevant government officials.

5. Payment

5.1 Payments for completed rides will be processed through this YO! -TAXI Drivers App. You will receive the agreed-upon fare, which may include applicable taxes, fees, and surcharges.
5.2 YO! -TAXI LTD. reserves the right to adjust fare calculations based on factors such as distance, time, and surge pricing.
5.3 YO! -TAXI LTD. shall charge a commission of 15% or 20% of your weekly earning.
5.4 YO! -TAXI LTD. Shall remit your earning of the previous week into your registered Nigerian Bank Account on Mondays
5.5 Drivers with a negative balance (due to uncollected passenger fares, fees, or penalties) are required to settle the negative balance within one week of receiving notice. Failure to resolve a negative balance within the stipulated time can result in suspension or other legal actions as deemed appropriate by YO! - TAXI LTD.

6. Cancellation Policy

6.1 As a driver, you can cancel an already accepted passengers’ ride request if you have a valid reason to do so. However, repeated cancellations without valid reason(s) can result in account penalties and/or suspension.
6.2 If you cancel an already accepted trip request after contacting the passenger, without a valid reason, a cancellation penalty of ₦2000 will be applied.

7. Driver Conduct

7.1 You agree to operate as a professional and courteous driver while using this YO! -TAXI Drivers App.
7.2 Harassment, discrimination, or any form of inappropriate behavior towards passengers is strictly prohibited. These can lead to suspension of legal action.

8. Liability

8.1 We do not control the behaviour of passengers or guarantee the safety of the rides. You use this YO! -TAXI Drivers App fully aware that you are in charge of ensuring your safety and that of your passenger(s) during your ride(s).
8.2 You are solely responsible for your actions, behavior, and the safety of passengers during rides.
8.3 You use this YO! -TAXI Drivers App and our services at your own risk.
8.4 YO! -TAXI LTD. is not liable for any damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of this YO! -TAXI Drivers App or the services provided to passengers.

9. Changes to Terms

9.1 We reserve the right to modify or update these terms and conditions at any time without notice. Changes will be effective upon posting on this YO! -TAXI Passengers App. Continued use of this App constitutes your acceptance of any changes, which usually takes effect with this YO! -TAXI Drivers App updates on PlayStore and App Store.

10. Termination

10.1 We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to this YO! -TAXI Drivers App and services if you violate these terms and conditions.

11. Governing Law

11.1 These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict of laws principles
